In recent months, we have received many questions about current developments, e.g., the impact of AI, in Global Competency Centres (including Shared Service Centres and off/near shoring of Global Business Services). Together with our partner Avasant (a global research and consulting firm based in Los Angeles and Delhi), we would like to discuss these developments and questions.
Global Competency Centres are entering a new growth phase with exciting developments that make GCCs relevant for Benelux companies. Together with Avasant, we are organising a round table meeting on 30 October at Buitenplaats Slangevegt in Breukelen.
Avasant recently conducted some very interesting research among international companies with GCCs, the results of which they presented earlier this year to executive leaders of GCCs in India. We want to discuss the findings for the Benelux with a select group of contacts. Marcel Mertens, Head Strategic Sourcing & Partner Management at ABN AMRO Bank, will share the experiences and the journey of ABN AMRO Bank.
